Toyoda Auditorium at Nagoya University
(In English below.)
Nagoya University, where I am studying as an exchange student for a year, is located in the Aichi prefecture, home to Toyota Motor company. The landmark of the campus, Toyoda Auditorium (豊田講堂 toyoda kōdō) was donated to the university in 1960 by Toyota Motor to commemorate, Toyoda Sakichi, a leader of Japanese industrial revolution who started what later became the Toyota group.
The auditorium building itself, work of Maki Fumihiko, a famous modernist architect, is impressive, and the green space around it is my favourite spot in the campus.
