    <content type="html">&lt;p&gt;Two years ago I&amp;rsquo;ve bought a pack of extremely tasty and pricey dried berries sold as &lt;a href="http://lifefood.cz/strava/incan-goldenberries-physalis.html"&gt;Incan Goldenberries&lt;/a&gt;. It&amp;rsquo;s hard to liken the taste to something else, but its both tart and sweet and with a little special something. As I&amp;rsquo;ve found out, the plant is called &lt;a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Physalis_peruviana"&gt;physalis peruviana&lt;/a&gt;, or cape gooseberry. The berries were full of small seeds. I&amp;rsquo;ve saved one berry, extracted a few seeds and planted them the next spring. Plants about a meter high remotely similar to tomato have grown from the seeds. There were &lt;a href="/2010/07/31/my-garden/"&gt;only a few unripe fruits&lt;/a&gt;. I&amp;rsquo;ve dug it out in the autumn, kept it in the basement, and replanted it this spring.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I&amp;rsquo;ve had a first few ripe fruits. There will be less than ten of them in total, and they&amp;rsquo;re delicious. They taste like pure sunlight with a bit of tomato.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;P&#225;r slov &#269;esky: Tohle je &#269;&#225;st m&#233; prvn&#237; &#250;rody bobul&#237; mochyn&#283; peru&#225;nsk&#233;. Rostlinu jsem vyp&#283;stoval ze sem&#237;nek koupen&#253;ch su&#353;en&#253;ch bobul&#237; (&lt;a href="http://lifefood.cz/strava/incan-goldenberries-physalis.html"&gt;Incan Goldenberries&lt;/a&gt;, &#250;dajn&#283; jsou stra&#353;n&#283; zdrav&#233;, ale hlavn&#283; jsou stra&#353;n&#283; dobr&#233;) a p&#345;ezimoval ve sklep&#283;. Je&#353;t&#283; nev&#237;m, co s n&#237; ud&#283;l&#225;m tuhle zimu. Po vyta&#382;en&#237; ze sklepa byla letos dost zmaten&#225; (&#269;&#225;ste&#269;n&#233; opad&#225;n&#237; list&#367;, zaschnut&#237; n&#283;kter&#253;ch v&#283;tv&#237;), ale boj&#237;m se, &#382;e venku by nep&#345;e&#382;ila.&lt;/p&gt;

    <content type="html">&lt;p&gt;Ned&#225;vno jsem m&#283;l docela dobr&#233; novopack&#233; tmav&#233; pivo v &lt;a href="http://www.uzavesenyhokafe.cz/"&gt;Zav&#283;&#353;enym kafi&lt;/a&gt;. Kdy&#382; jsem pak uvid&#283;l jejich &amp;ldquo;z&#225;zvorov&#233; pivo&amp;rdquo;, nav&#237;c ov&#283;n&#269;en&#233; zlat&#253;m kurz&#237;vn&#237;m n&#225;pisem &amp;ldquo;Exclusive&amp;rdquo; na pivn&#237;m st&#225;nku na &#345;&#237;&#269;ansk&#253;ch trz&#237;ch, zaj&#225;sal jsem.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Ale p&#345;ed&#269;asn&#283;. Jedn&#225; se o sv&#283;tl&#233; pivo dochucen&#233; &#233;&#269;ky, kter&#233; z&#225;zvor nevid&#283;lo ani z d&#225;lky. U&#382; po otev&#345;en&#237; lahve se na m&#283; vylinulo aroma ne nepodobn&#233; skandin&#225;vsk&#253;m plechovkov&#253;m &amp;ldquo;cider&#367;m&amp;rdquo;: chemick&#225; limon&#225;da. Z&#225;zvorov&#233; aroma je c&#237;tit pom&#283;rn&#283; slab&#283; (ve srovn&#225;n&#237; se siln&#253;mi, by&#357; nealkoholick&#253;mi ginger beers, kter&#225; jsou opravdu ze z&#225;zvoru; u n&#225;s je k sehn&#225;n&#237; t&#345;eba Fiery Ginger Beer v Marks&amp;amp;Spencer). Siln&#225; je naopak univerz&#225;ln&#283;-&#382;v&#253;ka&#269;kovo-limon&#225;dov&#225; kombinace a v&#367;n&#283; um&#283;l&#253;ch sladidel a p&#345;&#237;rodn&#283; identick&#253;ch aromat. V pozad&#237; je c&#237;tit naho&#345;kl&#225; chu&#357; n&#283;&#269;eho, co by s&#225;m o sob&#283; asi byl p&#345;&#237;jemn&#253; le&#382;&#225;k: jedin&#283; d&#237;ky tomu je mok jak&#382; tak&#382; piteln&#253;. Kdybych se byl pod&#237;val na etiketu vzadu, mohl jsem si zbyte&#269;n&#253; n&#225;kup u&#353;et&#345;it:&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Z&#345;ejm&#283; se jedn&#225; o &lt;a href="http://www.ratebeer.com/beer/np-gingers-beer-classic/110880/"&gt;toto pivo&lt;/a&gt; v inovovan&#233; lahvi, mimochodem b&#367;hv&#237;pro&#269; nevratn&#233;. Na &lt;a href="http://www.novopackepivo.cz/"&gt;str&#225;nk&#225;ch pivovaru Nov&#225; Paka&lt;/a&gt; v&#253;robek v&#367;bec nefiguruje. Douf&#225;m, &#382;e to znamen&#225;, &#382;e ho vypustili ze sortimentu.&lt;/p&gt;

    <content type="html">&lt;p&gt;Za posledn&#237; asi t&#253;den se kolem &#353;vestkov&#233;ho octo-kvasu d&#283;la spousta v&#283;c&#237;, tak&#382;e popo&#345;&#225;dku:&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;ul&gt;
  &lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Den 4:&lt;/strong&gt; P&#345;estalo m&#283; bavit &lt;a href="/2011/08/15/svestkovy-ocet-den-1/"&gt;p&#345;ekypov&#225;n&#237; velk&#233; sklenice&lt;/a&gt; a projel jsem kvas ty&#269;ov&#253;m mix&#233;rem, rychle, ne p&#345;&#237;li&#353; d&#367;kladn&#283;. Zabralo to.&lt;/li&gt;
  &lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Den 5:&lt;/strong&gt; Rozhodl jsem se velkou sklenici p&#345;ecedit p&#345;es kapesn&#237;k. St&#225;lo to dost &#382;d&#237;m&#225;n&#237; a ma&#269;k&#225;n&#237;, ale poda&#345;ilo se mi z n&#237; v&#283;t&#353;inu tekutiny dostat.&lt;/li&gt;
  &lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Den 8:&lt;/strong&gt; Ani jednu sklenici jsem n&#283;jakou dobu neprom&#237;ch&#225;val. Na povrchu velk&#233; se za&#269;&#237;n&#225; vytv&#225;&#345;et jemn&#253; &#353;edav&#253; z&#225;kal s p&#225;r v&#253;razn&#283;j&#353;&#237;mi sv&#283;tl&#253;mi te&#269;kami. Boj&#237;m se, &#382;e jde o pl&#237;se&#328;, ale neztr&#225;c&#237;m nervy. Na vrchu mal&#233; sklenice to vypad&#225; fakt divn&#283;, vy&#269;uhuj&#237;c&#237; hn&#283;d&#233; zbytky ovoce a n&#283;co, co vypad&#225; je&#353;t&#283; v&#237;c jako pl&#237;se&#328;. Ztr&#225;c&#237;m nervy a mal&#225; sklenice kon&#269;&#237; na kompostu.&lt;/li&gt;
  &lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Den 10:&lt;/strong&gt; Na povrchu velk&#233; sklenice se ze z&#225;kalu nakonec utvo&#345;ilo cosi, co rozhodn&#283; nen&#237; pl&#237;se&#328;, viz v&#269;erej&#353;&#237; fotky n&#237;&#382;e.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Kvas te&#271; vypad&#225; v z&#225;sad&#283; po&#345;&#225;d stejn&#283; jako 10. a 11. den. Je c&#237;tit (p&#345;i p&#345;ivon&#283;n&#237; i ochutn&#225;n&#237;) octem i alkoholem, ale je podstatn&#283; slab&#353;&#237; ne&#382; b&#283;&#382;n&#253; ocet (sp&#237;&#353; n&#283;co jako nep&#345;&#237;li&#353; kysel&#253; citr&#243;n). P&#345;i ochutn&#225;v&#225;n&#237; jsem zjistil, &#382;e vrstva na hladin&#283; je velmi slab&#225;, rozhodn&#283; to zat&#237;m nen&#237; nic, co by &#353;lo chytit a vyt&#225;hnout. P&#345;edpokl&#225;d&#225;m, &#382;e ten potah je produktem octov&#253;ch bakteri&#237;, kter&#233; pot&#345;ebuj&#237; vzduch a dr&#382;&#237; se tedy u hladiny. Zvr&#225;sn&#283;n&#237; bude z&#345;ejm&#283; zp&#367;soben&#233; st&#225;le unikaj&#237;c&#237;m oxidem uhli&#269;it&#253;m.&lt;/p&gt;
